Mary J. Blige performs ‘Stronger’ on GMA…

Mary J. Blige performed on Good Morning America yesterday. The R&B veteran belted the hell out of her latest new single ‘Stronger’. The track is taken from the soundtrack ‘More Than A Game’ which is centred around LeBron James. Peep the performance below:

I never considered Mary to be some great singer. The strains and shaky runs always obliterated her previous live performances. However, she certainly took it to church this time. The passion, the rawness and the soul was very much heartfelt. All three elements dispersed themselves across the live instruments like broken glass, displaying much of that sharp sensitivity. Good stuff.
