From what I got from the clip, Alicia plays a super hero who is trying not to succumb to a lover that she knows she has to try and live without, but just can’t do it. At least that’s what I got from the clip, correct me if i’m wrong. Although I adore the song, I can’t really say that I liked the video. The treatment just didn’t feel relevant to the lyrics or the song. What does reviving dogs, racing motorcycles, and jumping up a building have anything to do with sleeping with a broken heart?
