Leona Lewis is back in the United States doing promo for her new album ‘Echo’. The album was released worldwide this week. She performed her latest new single ‘Happy’ on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last night. Watch the performance below:
Being 7am around these parts is good enough reason not to watch this, so I didn’t. I can’t be dozing off again. However, as I’ve got a bit of news to share, I may as well post it. ‘Outta My Head’ has been appointed as the second single from the project. I’m not too thrilled about the song but seeing her trying to dance to it at her London gig recently might be somewhat entertaining on television. After all, with these latest new performances, although she always delivers vocally, I’m just not seeing a lot of personality.
On a positive note, ‘Echo’ looks like a dead cert to top the UK Album Chart this week, so with ‘Happy’ not getting to no 1 here, it’s not all doom and gloom for the X Factor legend. I am still iffing and butting if I should even do an album review. Whilst the project is a step-up from ‘Spirit’, it didn’t exactly overwhelm me. Depending on how I feel over the weekend, we’ll see.
