Beyonce performs ‘Sweet Dreams/Single Ladies’ [VMA Performance Video]…

At last night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce performed a drum-led remix of her latest single ‘Sweet Dreams’ wearing a sparkly leotard and one silver glove. Before long, she dived straight into a rousing performance of her mega smash ‘Single Ladies’. Beyonce also won three Moon Men for Best Choreography (Single Ladies), Best Editing (Single Ladies) and the coveted Video of the Year (Single Ladies).

The new revamped version of Sweet Dreams was pretty cool. However, when it was initially announced that Beyonce would be performing Sweet Dreams I thought it would be a full performance. But then, Beyonce’s song and video for Single Ladies has been deemed ‘iconic’ with thousands of different Youtube duplications posted on the popular video site worldwide. It’s understandable that this is the song that would recieve the most momentum. Plus, ALL her three Awards were in fact accoladed for that one video after all. As for the performance, I really enjoyed it. I’ll go out on a limb and say this is probably the best performance of the song I’ve seen so far. You can now watch the performance after the jump.
